Typesetting RSS with LaTeX

Here are some scripts which scrape NPR.org, generates an RSS feed, then typesets those articles using LaTeX. The finished product is a PDF (sample) which can be read directly on a reMarkable tablet (same output page size), and has complete bookmarks categorized both by section and title.

Use it like ./npr2rss.sh | ./rsstopdf.sh "/tmp/out.pdf". Write a cron line to execute it and scp the PDF to your ereader and bing, bang, boom: you got yourself daily news.
