Electronic Part Organization

On this page are some pictures of how I categorize my electronics. I can immediately re-order parts by scanning the label that contains the part number. The design of the labels is to allow quick browsing from open-top containers, like an Ikea Fjälla box. The envelopes are paper "kraft" CD cases: effective and cheap.

I store my orders in a spreadsheet like this. From that, I copy the rows I want to print labels of to the clipboard, and pipe them through a script that makes images, which are printed using brother_ql in FreeBSD.
