Biking to the east coast

For the past few days, I’ve been in the “mental masturbation” stage of plotting a course to the east coast via bicycle. Not just a bicycle, though – a tandem bicycle. It would attract a bit of attention, and be easier to ride with two people pedaling. Also, supplies could be packed more efficiently (only one tent instead of two, plus more cargo space).

Anyway, I’m going to chew on this one for a little while.
